Sheila writes: Good news - Abbot is slowly moving from puppy status to dog status.  He walks on the left side with a lead - listens to come - learning how to go down stairs - loves Bob and most of the residents - jumps into the car on his own, sits down in elevators, sniffed other dogs' scents and has met all the family, except Monica who lives in Ottawa.  He has been welcomed to the neighborhood by the neighbors. Everyone loves Costello so much and we tell everyone about you so I hope that you get some business.

Costello is such a good puppy and rather smart.  He is aptly named as he is quite a comedian and we see more of this as he plays “tricks” on us.  When we throw his soft toy bone (the one you gave him) he runs upstairs and “hides” it.  When we say where is it, he runs and “finds” it and comes down as if this is the greatest joke ever.

Hi, Fern –

My husband, Ted, and I have spent the past 2 years building a new cottage in Haliburton where we plan to retire in about 5 years’ time. We spend all our vacation time and every weekend up there working on projects. This summer we didn’t have much time to sit and relax, but Kramer found the time – and lots of it! – to relax on the Muskoka chair on the screened- in porch.

We have two granddaughters now – Alina is 1 year old and Murielle was born only 1 week ago this evening! When I have the whole family at the cottage we have a motley crew of dogs – a bichon, a Bernese (my son’s dog), a golden doodle, and a rescue mutt that is thought to be a lab/daschund mix (both my daughter’s dogs).  A crazy collection indeed but they each have their own personalities and I find it quite interesting. Kramer is well-known in our neighbourhood and all the girl dogs think he is a handsome guy (but usually he ignores them!) Have a great winter!

Then we brought her out and she had snow all over her face from licking it !!!!!!!

Babies ready for new homes Feb 21/11... Pick a Puppy.... These babies have all found homes but we have another litter on it's way!!!

Cedric has a new family.
